NEW REPERTORY SEASON AT OLD RED LION THEATRE AUDITIONS

In partnership with new company FLYWHEEL Old Red Lion theatres presents a Repertory Season of Theatre!

We're looking for the toughest of the tough, maddest of the mad, front-foot creative performers who are up for a challenge to join this inaugural ensemble. The six plays will range from 411BC to the 1920s. Get ready for a bold ambitious experience!


2nd Sept - 11th Oct 2025


This is a paid opportunity to undertake six productions in six weeks - you must be able to commit and work at pace!

The 503 Programming Team will be at the Edinburgh Fringe this year, looking for work to programme this autumn and beyond. If you are taking a show to the Edinburgh Fringe that you would like us to come and watch, please fill in the Edinburgh Fringe invites form. LION AND UNICORN THEATRE IS PROGRAMMING FOR AUTUMN/WINTER


If you’ve got a brilliant, brave, brand new piece of work then we’d love to hear from you.

We’re open for shows with a creative team or producer already attached for performances from Oct 25 - March 2026. We’re looking for…

✨Week-long runs
✨ 2 Week long (Offie-Eligible) Longer runs
✨ Short runs (1-3 nights)

✨ Scratch Nights, one off performances and new challenging work which reflects the complex and exciting world we live in today.

With support from an in house team of theatremakers, marketing guidance (and maybe a bit of free rehearsal space thrown in for good measure for week long shows or above)

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our core team at Theatre503! The Marketing Coordinator will lead on the delivery and development of Theatre503’s marketing strategy. Having had a Marketing Coordinator in post for 2-days per week for the past year, we are expanding this role and embedding it further within the core team as we grow as an organisation and seek to expand our reach and engagement.

If you have a show that you would like considered for programming then please send:
Your script - ideally as a PDF attachment. Your preferred dates and length of run. Details of your company and any creative team or actors on board. Any reviews or images of previous runs elsewhere e.g. in Edinburgh etc.
In line with our programming policy all shows must be socially conscious and demonstrate how they provide opportunities for, or representation of underrepresented groups including, but not limited to:

Working class artists

Artists from the Global Majority

Non binary or gender fluid artists

LGBTQ+ Artists

Artists from the neuro-divergent community.

Since its formation in 2004 Get Over It Productions has always been a safe space for marginalised voices to take the stand. Starting life 16 years ago, touring all-female Shakespeare across the UK Fringe Festivals, these days the stories of all key identity groups are nurtured here. We run the monthly Bread & Roses Playwrights Circle, a friendly and supportive group in which playwrights can share their work and work-in-progress, as well as a biennial Playwriting Award for full-length plays and a biannual scratch night The Platform for short plays. We also publish selected plays from our theatre programme.

NewsRevue is the world’s longest running live comedy show at it's home in Canal Cafe Theatre, Little Venice, Edinburgh Fringe and the West End.  This current affairs parody song and sketch show is acknowledged as a “rite of passage for all comedy newcomers” (Chortle).

DATABASE FOR STAGE MANAGERS AND THEATRE TECHNICIANS


Since the pandemic there has been a shortage of  Stage Managers and Theatre Technicians in London.  Bridge House Theatre is compiling a database which they will share with other off west end and independent theatres.
