‘Brought into this timescale with perfection’ ★★★

This modern adaptation of Little Women, set in London 2019, follows the four sisters: as Jo and Meg go to visit Beth and Amy in their London based house. It celebrates connection between women.

I reviewed this wonderful play at The Hope Theatre in Islington. Promising show for these recent graduates. The four sisters were portrayed perfectly well. Each having their very own characters in empathy with Little Women.

The acting was impressive for such a young company, and they brought it into this timescale with perfection. The girls all had their individual issues but the love between them shows through. They were all hurting in their different ways.

Produced well and written with passion. I loved it.
