It is estimated that the performing arts is a £5.5 billion industry with cumulative audiences comparable to Premier League football crowds. Pub theatres are part of this ecology and are an important and unique part of the London Theatre scene. They are the training ground for the next generation of theatre makers as well the place for experienced theatre makers to bring world class theatre. This is the place to see a fast response to what is going on in the world, theatrical innovations and re-discovered plays which are keeping our theatrical history alive. These powerful theatres are also championing diversity and giving opportunities to under represented voices. Visiting London pub theatres is an experience not to be missed.
